Windshields Etc first came into existence in May of 2013, in Carrizo Springs, a small South Texas oil town, but its roots run much deeper. Eddie Posselt, a second-generation Auto glass expert from El Paso, along with his son Rian, launched the new venture with one objective in mind-growth! And that explains the "Etc" in the company's name.

The 2015 oil bust forced many local companies to close their doors and migrate to other areas, mainly west, to the Permian Basin, hub of the Texas oil field. Windshields Etc wasn't the exception. In January of 2016, the first black and yellow signs displaying the company's name and logo appeared in front of a small shop in Odessa, managed and operated by three people with one vision--the same vision that drove this company since its birth three years earlier.

In November of 2017, Windshields Etc employed its 'growth' mentality to open its second location in Pecos, TX, providing mobile service to Ft Stockton, Monahans, and Orla, while the Odessa location serviced Kermit and Midland.

But to the Windshields Etc team, the 'growth 'mentality isn't limited to territorial expansion. Growth is a philosophy that encompasses everything they do, including excellent quality of service, a can-do attitude, adaptation to the local market needs, and fair compensation to all its team members.

Windshields Etc strives to maintain its 'growth' mentality without losing sight of what has fueled its growth-people.
